28" (72 cm). Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, slightly modeled brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, shaded lips, four porcelain teeth, impressed dimples at corners of lips and chin, pierced ears, brunette mohair curly wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S&H 1079 dep Germany 13 1/2 (head) Heinrich Handwerck (body). Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1910. Value Points: beautiful classic dolly-faced child has choice bisque and painting, original body and body finish, original wig and wonderfully detail original costume.
