17" (45 cm). Solid domed bisque shoulder head with slightly elongated throat, brown glass inset eyes, dark painted lashes, dark eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair, kid gusset-jointed body with bisque forearms, brown silk fashion gown with matching bonnet, undergarments, leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 8 H. Comments: Simon and Halbig, although with model number, the doll is surely the 929 model of that firm, circa 1890. Value Points: beautiful presence of the gentle-featured and rare model.
