Comments: Columbian Doll, the model was exhibited at the Columbian Exposition of 1893 in Chicago where it was awarded the Gold Medal; the doll was made by the Adams sisters, Emma and Marietta of Oswego, N.Y. Value Points: rare large size with unusual signature of Marietta Adams Ruttan that is rarely found on these dolls.
