20" (51 cm). Bisque shoulderhead of plump-faced lady with blonde sculpted hair in arranged curls, intaglio-sculpted blue eyes, white eye dots, painted lower lashes, incised upper eyeliner, very dramatically painted dark eye shadow, short feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, modeled bodice with collar and ruffles, muslin stitch-jointed body with leather arms, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent, hands worn. Comments: Germany, circa 1880. Value Points: rare model with unusual sculpting of intaglio eyes, and very distinctive eye decoration, modeled bodice.
