Description
6" (15 cm). Each has bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, closed mouth, mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted above-the-knee brown ribbed stockings, dark brown painted shoes with ankle strap and heels. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SFBJ Paris 2. Comments: SFBJ, circa 1900. Value Points: the pair wears original elaborate costume of Alsace, each with swivel head and rare painted stockings.
