Bisque shoulderhead of adult woman with slender oval face and elongated throat, black sculpted hair arranged very elaborately with rolled curls forming a high crown, forehead bangs with stippled detail, long curl onto the nape of neck, pierced ears, painted facial features, unusually large blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque lower limbs, painted shoes, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, right foot reglued. Comments: Germany, circa 1875. Value Points: rare model with superb detail of hair sculpting, pierced ears, unusual expression.
