13" (33 cm.) Gypsum shoulderhead with modeled hair, brushstroked painting of soft brown curls, light brown complexion, pale blue painted eyes, black fringed brows, tiny brows, tiny rounded nose, handmade pink flannel baby body, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Sasha Morgenthaler, early 1950s, the doll was presented in do-it-yourself kit form, offered from the Swiss department store of Heimatwerk. Value Points: rare variation of Sasha baby, the doll is wearing original diaper, undershirt, pink hand-knit onesie and matching sweater, and the doll has a blue ribbon award from 2012 UFDC convention.
