24" (61 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, brushstroked brows, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with shaded lips, brunette human hair, cork pate, French composition fully-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: J. Steiner Bte SGDG Paris Fre A 15 (head) (original Steiner label on body). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1889. Value Points: lovely pale complexion enhanced by subtle blush on cheeks, dimpled chin and eye lids.
