Description
10" (25 cm). Solid domed bisque head with flanged neck, lightly tinted baby hair and brows, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast pouty expression, muslin body, composition hands. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: E.I. Horsman c. 1924 Made in Germany. Comments: Baby Grumpy, by Horsman, was made in composition, all-bisque, and bisque (as this model), circa 1924. Value Points: wonderfully sculpted frowning baby with choice bisque and painting, original body, antique gown.
