Description
8 1/2" (21 cm) head circ. Solid domed bisque head with flanged neck, lightly tinted baby hair and brows, tiniest glass eyes with red accent lines at each corner, close-modeled mouth appearing as though wide open in crying expression, shaded lips and tongue, muslin baby body, celluloid hands. Condition: generally excellent, some wash on lip color. Marks: O.I.C. 255 7. Comments: Germany, circa 1920. Value Points: rare little crying character baby whose rosy complexion enhances the crying-face design, multi-layered antique baby costume.
