Description
24" (61 cm). Thick paste porcelain with slight pink tinting portraying adult woman with oval face, elongated throat, sloping shoulders, black hair in defined waves around the sides of the head and gathered into braided chignon at the back, painted facial features, pale blue outlined eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, black single stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, muslin stitch-jointed body, leather arms, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, few rubs at front of hair. Comments: Germany, circa 1860. Value Points: early model with fine presence, well sculpted features.
