17" (43 cm). Glazed porcelain shoulderhead of lady with oval face, glancing downward, elongated throat, modeled bosom, brown sculpted hair waved around the sides of the face into coiled bun at the back of head and decorated with a gilt comb, painted facial features, muslin body, porcelain hands with elegantly posed fingers. Condition: generally excellent, two finger tips chipped. Marks: (crown symbol and script letter L). Comments: maker uncertain, Meissen type, circa 1910. Value Points: rare shoulderhead doll from porcelain art series with character expression, beautiful coiffed hair.
