Description
2 1/2" (7 cm) loto box. Including two sets of miniature croquet with bone croquet mallets, balls, metal arches, one in walnut box with slide lid, the other in cardboard box with faux- wood finish with original paper label "Croquet"; along with loto game, in original box with wooden numbered buttons and cards. French, circa 1875. Excellent condition. The rare doll's parlor toys are miniature-sized versions of popular people- games of the era, and were designed for display with fashion dolls and the newly-popular mignonettes.
