13" (33 cm). Hard composition socket head portraying a highly characterized child, painted brown eyes, black upper eyeliner, white eye dots, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with very full pouty lips, blushed cheeks, auburn mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Marion Kaulitz, circa 1910,who pioneered the Puppen Reform movement, initiating realism of dolls. Value Points: very rare doll is in perfectly preserved condition, original body, body finish, wig, undergarments and shoes are pristine; the dress is original albeit the fabric is frail.
