All-wooden doll with one-piece egg-shaped head and block torso with defined waist, enamel-painted creamy complexion, black painted hair with shaded scallop curls around the face, blue eyes, long black upper eyeliner and brows, carved nose, tiny painted lips and cheek blush, dowel jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, white painted arms and legs, black painted shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2/0. Comments: Grodnertal, circa 1880. Value Points: an excellent example of fine original painting on this style doll, larger size. $300/400
