Socket head with elongated face having full lower cheeks, painted brown eyes, black pupils, thick black upper eyeliner with grey eye shadow and additional black outline, wavy brows, small nose, closed mouth with full lightly painted lips, brunette human hair, five-piece body with kid-lined joints. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Sasha Sp 26/064 CI 60. Comments: studio doll by Sasha Morgenthaler,1960,the doll was known as "bauenkinder" or "farm girl". Value Points: most appealing expression on the beautifully preserved rare doll, wearing original multi- layered costume of cotton, woolen and homespun.
