11" x 8" (28 x 20 cm). Wooden box with decorative floral paper covers and paper scroll label "Toilette" hinges open to reveal an elaborately fitted interior arranged as a small dressing room, with curtained mirror back decorated with pair of gilt ormolu candle holders, a table arranged with a porcelain wash bowl and pitcher service and various accessories including brush, perfume, mirror, with two wooden towel bars and towels at the sides, faux-parquet floor, and an assortment of combs and jewelry at the front. The box has partial original boutique label at underside. French, circa 1890. Excellent condition, a rare arrangement of doll's toiletry service.
