18" (45 cm). Glazed porcelain shoulderhead of lady with oval face, elongated throat, refined pose, sculpted light grey painted hair waved away from face, downcast grey painted eyes, painted upper eyeliner and lightly feathered brows, closed mouth, kid stitch-jointed arms and legs, original porcelain hands with posed fingers, well costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Meissen factory at Nymphenburg, from a limited series produced in 1908 for the Munich trade association of arts. Value Points: very rare doll with exquisite sculpting and painting, finest quality of porcelain.
