22" (56 cm.) Bisque socket head, deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, mauve blushed eye shadow, brushstroked brows, shaded nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with shaded outlined lips, dimpled chin and lip corners, separately-modeled pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball jointed body with straight wrists, royal blue silk and velvet dress, lace bonnet, undergarments, shoes. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish. Marks: 10 EJ (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1882. Value Points: beautiful early bebe, body in very fine condition.
