Description
3 1/4" (8 cm) and 5" (13 cm). Each depicts a seated Kewpie, leaning forward and clasping an oversized brown ink pen in its hands. One is seated upon a white porcelain "envelope" with the words "With Kewpish love from Rose O'Neill" (spot remains where postage stamp was placed), and the other is seated atop a porcelain inkwell. Each marked "c." Germany, circa 1915.
