9". Composition pear-shaped socket head with orange center-parted hair, large ears, black painted "O" shaped eyes, pointy nose, arched brows, closed mouth with wide beaming smile, composition five piece body with painted shoes and socks. Wearing original checkered shirt with red felt collar and cuffs, and blue shorts with yellow buttons. Marked "Knickerbocker Toy" on doll, cloth tag on costume, and "Columbia Pictures Blondie with Baby Dumpling, Dagwood and Daisy, King Features Syndicate" on paper hang tag. Knickerbocker, circa 1935. Depicted is Baby Dumpling, "born" in 1934,in the Blondie comic strip created by Chic Young.
