Description
22". Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, shaded lips, four porcelain teeth, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Wearing antique maroon cashmere wool dress with rose silk bodice, bonnet, leather saddle shoes, undergarments, and carrying a small German all-bisque baby. The doll is marked "K made in Germany 14 146" on the head, and "Excelsior" on the body; the baby is marked 830. Germany, Kestner, circa 1900.
