16". Pressed mask face with painted blue side-glancing eyes, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth, blushed cheeks, blonde mohair wig, stitch- jointed peach muslin body. Wearing blue flannel double-breasted jacket with pearl buttons, white shirt with black bow tie, orange flannel pants, shoes and socks, blue flannel cap. Unsigned, Madame Alexander from storybook series, a variation of the Oliver Twist doll,#9,indicates its probable inclusion in that series, circa 1933.
