Description
15" x 12". Wooden painted aqua shadowbox frames each enclose a dimensional felt doll in amusing pose with painted and embroidered facial features, yarn hair, sewn-on costumes, two with skates, two with fluffy dogs. The frames, classic decorations of the 1930 era, are shown in photographs of Jane Withers' teen-age bedroom. Each signed Daly. Circa 1938.
