11" and 16". Each is made of black cotton muslin with flat-dimensional facial features except slight stitch-shaping of woman's nose and ears, embroidered facial features, the woman with defined teeth, black yarn curly hair on boy, with black cotton stitch-shaped body. Each wears well detailed rural style costume of print cottons, the woman with pearl earrings. Unmarked. American, circa 1935.
