Brown velvet face with pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, thick painted brows, strong nose, firmly shaped lips, black yarn hair in pigtails, sewn-on body costume of orange felt with bright appliques in orange, yellow and brows, brown felt shoes, carrying wooden axe. Marked "Made in England by Norah Wellings." Circa 1935.
