14". Brushed rose velvet head with pressed and painted facial features, jutting chin and pointy nose, large painted "O" shaped eyes, mohair moustache, sewn-on felt body costume of soldier with red jacket trimmed in blue and yellow, tight white leggings, brown velvet spats. Wearing additional cardboard parade helmet with rope trim and brim. Marked "Pickitoop Toys, Reg. Trademark, Made in England by Dean's Rag Book" on right foot, and "Popeye Copyright, reg des. 804398 1929 King Features Syndicate, Dean's Rag Book, Made in England" on left foot. Circa 1930.
