Description

Standing upon a velvet-covered wooden base is a bisque-head doll with blue glass eyes, open mouth, brunette mohair wig, carton torso and legs, bisque forearms. She is wearing an ivory silk dress trimmed with grosgrain ribbon under pale green brocade jacket with Juliette sleeves, silk buttons, wire-framed lace bonnet, and silk shoes. In her right hand is a mirror and in her left hand is a powder puff. The doll is marked 1300-6 DEP. The key is marked L.B. Movements: the doll turns to the right and lifts mirror to face, nods to look into mirror, turns to the left and lifts powder puff to face; her eyes open and partially close to follow the movement of her head and arms.
