Description
A bisque-head doll with blue glass paperweight eyes, closed mouth, blonde mohair wig, carton torso and legs in standing position, bisque forearms and hands, is posed upon a maroon velvet covered wooden base. The doll wears aqua blue silk dress with lace overlay, blue silk shoes and matching bonnet. She holds a wooden mirror in right hand and a handkerchief in left hard. The head, by Jumeau, is marked Depose Tete Jumeau 4. Movements: she turns her head from side to side, nods, regards her toilette in the mirror she brings to her face, and dabs her face with her hankie.
