Description
A bisque-head lady with portrait like face, brown glass paperweight eyes, closed mouth, brunette mohair wig, carton torso and legs in standing position, bisque forearms, is standing upon a maroon velvet-covered wooden base. She wears a gold and teal green silk gown with lace and black velvet trim, and straw bonnet a deux bonjours. Movements: she turns her head from side to side, and strums the mandolin. By Roullet et Decamps, France, circa 1885. 21" (54 cm). Two movements. Two tunes.
