Description
3" seated (8 cm). One-piece all-bisque figure of Kewpie-like girl in seated pose, leaning against vase, her arms outstretched, her legs kicking as though she was falling, with blonde sculpted hair in side braids, green sculpted hair bow, blue sculpted wings with scalloped sides, painted side-glancing eyes, impish smile. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 9610 (and symbol). Comments: circa 1915,the figure was inspired by the Kewpie design of Rose O'Neill. Value Points: most imaginative and charming little character, rare to find.
