5 1/2" (14 cm). One-piece all-bisque figure of Kewpie, seated on a green chair, his head turned to the side, right arm outstretched, left arm holding a book, legs outstretched, a large brown covered book held in his lap; Kewpie has topknot, side curls, blue wings, side-glancing eyes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: c (in circle). Comments: Kewpie, designed by Rose O'Neill, circa 1912. Value Points: rare action model Kewpie is delightfully rendered.
