Description
6 1/2" (17 cm). One-piece bisque head, torso and legs modeled together, loop-jointed bisque arms with starfish-style hands, brown glass sleep and side-glancing googly eyes, painted lashes, single stroke brows, closed mouth with beaming smile, tongue tip and two beaded teeth, brunette mohair wig. Condition: generally excellent, one bisque stringing loop replaced with metal loop. Marks: 222 16 (incised) Our Fairy Germany (paper label on torso). Comments: circa 1920. Value Points: wonderful size of the cheerful imp, with original wig and paper label.
