11" (28 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta shoulder head turned to the side, brown sculpted hair loosely waved from face over fully-sculpted ears and captured in loose chignon at the back, with red hair band, large enamel eyes, lips nearly closed with painted teeth, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted green leggings, red clogs, original silk folklore costume, and carrying basket. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
