Description
14"l (35 cm), 10" circ (25 cm). Solid domed composition head with flanged neck, painted hair with deeply sculpted forehead curls, blue sleep eyes in half-moon shape, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with wide center line, muslin body in frog shape, celluloid hands, antique baby gown. Condition: very good, very light composition lines, one finger missing. Marks: Copr. By Grace S. Putnam. Comments: Fly-lo Baby designed by Grace Putnam, marketed by Borgfeldt, circa 1925. Value Points: rare model by the American artist in virtually impossible-to-find composition version.
