15" (38 cm) All hard plastic with highly characterized face, socket head, sleep eyes with plastic lids and painted lashes, side painted lashes, high arched brows, walking style body that causes head to turn from side to side, jointed one- piece arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Mary Jane (costume). Comments: circa 1950s,produced for a few years only to capitalize on the popular Terri Lee market, the Mary Jane doll was forced to be discontinued by court order. Value Points: rare doll with curly auburn saran wig, original polka dot nylon dress with green organdy bloomers, nylon straw bonnet.
