Description
6 1/2" (17 cm). One-piece all-bisque figure of baby head emerging from a white bisque egg shell, the baby having blonde sculpted hair with topknot, large blue side-glancing painted eyes, curvy brows, scowling expression, left arm modeled flat against the shell, right hand emerging from shell with pointing finger. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 738 (incised, and symbol). Comments: possibly Hertwig, circa 1920. Value Points: amusing theme with highly characterized baby face.
