Description
9"l cow (23 cm). A collection of carved wooden animals from the Schoenhut Humpty Dumpty circus, in standard size, each with painted features and details includes ostrich, seal (flippers missing) two mountain goats, rhinoceros, and cow with bell (one horn missing). Also included are comic strip characters Maggie and Jiggs, with original cloth costumes. Very good condition, original finish throughout, albeit played with. American, circa 1910. A fine assemblage includes rare examples.
