27" (68 cm). Pressed bisque socket head, large brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner encircles the eyecut, rose blushed eyelids, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth, shaded and accented lips, brunette human hair over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: F 11 G. Comments: Francois Gaultier, circa 1880. Value Points: larger size of the early model Gaultier bebe with highly defined facial sculpting, original body and body finish, antique cream and aqua silk jester costume with ruffled collar and silk covered buttons, straw bonnet.
