Description
14" (35 cm). Bisque socket head with long-faced modeling, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, Sonnenberg composition and wooden fully- jointed body with straight wrists, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, body repainted. Marks: S 7 H 929. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: rare model with well-defined long-faced modeling, pretty expression.
