13" (33 cm). Bisque socket head with very plump modeling of cheeks and chin, tiny pale blue glass sleep eyes, fringed upper lashes, one stroke angled brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accent line between lips,blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, some repaint to body. Marks: 1418 4. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1912, from their 1400 character series, this 1418 is a previously undocumented model. Value Points: very rare character boy with beautifully captured character expression, excellent bisque and painting, original body and antique costume.
