12" (30 cm). Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes and brows,accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, accent line between the lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig in original braids, original muslin stitch-jointed commercial body with joint bands, bisque lower arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 949 S 2 H. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: pristine unplayed with condition of the early model closed mouth doll, wearing original traditional costume with elaborate detail.
