Description
13" (33 cm). Each is one-piece all-bisque figure of seated boy and girl with sculpted hair and facial features, sculpted well-detailed Victorian costumes with gilt and beaded decorations, seated on a bisque bench alongside a bowl of soap suds. Each has drilled hole in mouth and uplifted posed hand as though blowing bubbles. Condition: restoration on foot of girl and neck of boy. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1900. Value Points: rare figures with outstanding characterization, costume decoration, appealing theme.
