Description
9" (23 cm). One-piece bisque head, torso and legs, loop-jointed arms with starfish modeled hairs, sculpted topknot with deeply modeled forelock detail and side curls, side-glancing eyes with white eyedots, dash brows, impish smile, blue wings. Condition: chips at top of left arm and left torso (under jacket). Comments: Kewpie, designed by Rose O'Neill, circa 1910. Value Points: an especially fine example of modeling on this Kewpie.
