Bisque socket head with solid dome, modeled topknot, forelock curl and side curls, brown glass side-glancing googly eyes, painted lashes, short dash brows, tiny upturned nose with accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with thin line shy smile, composition five-piece toddler body with side-hip jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 240 7. Comments: Marseille, circa 1920,the character was created to suggest Kewpie and capture that popular market. Value Points: rare googly character with finest quality of bisque, sculpting, and painting.
