17" (43 cm). Bisque socket head with plump facial modeling, painted pale blue upper glancing eyes, black pupils with decorative glaze, black and red upper eyeliner, most delicate painted upper lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with modeled space between the outlined lips, defined tongue and teeth, brunette mohair wig with side braids over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, some body retouch. Marks: 180. Comments: Kestner, circa 1910. Value Points: especially fine quality of bisque and characterization on the rarer model, original wig, antique cotton dress and embroidered pinafore, undergarments, socks and blue kidskin shoes.
