Description
16" (41 cm). Carved/pressed wooden socket head with well-defined carved hair in short bobbed fashion, intaglio carved blue eyes with prominent black pupils and white eyedots, lightly tinted brows, closed mouth with solemn expression, all-wooden spring-jointed body with holes in feet for posing, well costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Jan.17, 1911 USA & Foreign Countries. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1912. Value Points: rarer early model with very fine quality of sculpting, original Schoenhut shoes.
