16" (42 cm). Pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, dark blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark painted eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, outlined lips, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with shapely torso, gusset-jointing at hips and knees,(frail) antique fashion gown. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: circa 1875,the facial model resembles early Simon and Halbig dolls made for the French market. Value Points: beautiful doll with serene expression, excellent bisque and painting.
