Composition swivel head on composition shoulderplate, brown sleep eyes, real lashes, painted lower lashes, dark eyeshadow, single stroke brows, closed mouth with bow-shaped lips, brunette human hair, muslin torso and upper legs, composition arms and lower legs. Condition: generally excellent, slight eye fading. Marks: R&B (doll). Nannette Walking and Talking Doll an R&B Quality Product (paper label). Comments: Arranbee, circa 1938. Value Points: an apt classic schoolgirl of her era, wearing original cotton dress with belt, matching bloomers, shoes, socks, straw bonnet, original paper label.
