Description
18" (47 cm). Solid domed pink-tinted bisque socket head, blonde sculpted boyish hair with forelock curl, intaglio eyes with large black pupils, white eye dots, incised upper eyeliner, lightly feathered brows, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 7663 Heubach (sunburst mark) Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: especially fine quality of bisque and sculpting on the wistful faced young lad.
